Different socio-political organisations yesterday expressed grave concern over the incidents at Gangaram cluster village under Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati hill district on Friday.
They called upon the government to take stern measures to stop recurrence of such incidents and bring the culprits to book.
Expressing deep concern, Moulana Abdur Rakib, President and Moulana Abdul Latif Nezami, general secretary of Bangladesh Nezame Islam Party in a joint statement blamed the government for the incident as it had withdrawn armed forces from the hill tracs.
